Online Payments: Login is required to make an online payment. Contractors and Registered Design Professionals will utilize a professional account set up by Central Permitting with an AEC username. Homeowners may create a public account and link their permits to their dashboard for payment.

Scheduling Inspections: This site only allows for inspection scheduling for permit application numbers starting with AP-300000 applied for after 8/25/19. Earlier Issued Permits can be scheduled here.
Accounts must be linked to a permit in order to schedule online. Contractor accounts are automatically linked by Central Permitting. Public accounts must be manually linked from the Dashboard.

Permits must have a status of Issued with no fees due in order to be scheduled online.

Inspections may be scheduled through the IVR by calling 704-878-3124.

How do I know my company's AEC user name?

You may use the Search AEC Numbers link below to look up accounts by Company Name, or you may contact Central Permitting at 704-878-3113.

Can my company/firm have multiple AEC accounts for employees?

For accuracy of permit tracking, we only allow for one AEC username and password per company for all professionals working with that entity.

What information is viewable through Permit Search?

Permits can be searched by permit number, address, or permit type without the need to log in. Public online record of permits include: application attachments, Contractor and Sub-Contractors, Fees due/paid, Inspections/Results, Agency Conditions for C.O./Building Permit Issue, and Review statuses.
